Curtume Minuano is a company located in the outskirts of Porto Alegre, with 33 years of tradition in the leather production sector. Today, it also has a leather sofas production unit for third parties and its own trademark.

Currently, the company trades bovine hides in the Wet-blue stage (integral, divided and scraped forms) semi-finished, finished, chamois, vegetal and haired carpets. In addition, the company manufactures and exports covers to be used in the manufacturing of sofas.

In its policy for constant investments, the board always focuses on three main points: technology/product , aiming at obtaining the best product with the best production processes; environment, having a complete station for the treating effluents that exceed the required standards; employees' development, recognizing their importance and providing constant trainings and courses. The result of these efforts is seen in the high-quality products of Minuano being sold worldwide.

Since June 2002, Curtume Minuano is certified with BS-TN ISO 9001:2000 in the leather manufacturing process for upholsters.
